Dear Wilfried and Masataka.

Both of you were right and both of you may be pleased by the new HOMENET working group of IETF, proposed recently by Jari Arko.  (I proposed earlier a similar research initiative for FP7...)

Best,

Géza

Some of the participants in this discussion seem to forget, always now and then,
that the 'net and the ISPs are not existing for the benefit of themselves, but
in order to provide service(s) to the users. Most of the time, the "infinitely
distant users" are the primary soure of the money that keeps the 'net, the ISPs,
the RIRs (and the scientists) in business. ;-)

Wilfried.
