I can't see why you would need to disable IPv6 completely just because one client OS does not support IPv6-*only* operation? Android works totally well in dual-stack networks - not using IPv6 if you mandate stateful DHCPv6, though.
While IPv6 is not fully supported by the majority of the devices, it cant be deployed.
"Some vendor's interpretation of Android" is hardly "the majority of devices"...
