No thanks. The same heap of bureaucratic bullshit that is required to get PI space just to get an *ASN*? Not to mention the lulz that will result when a LIR applies for an ASN and the NCC refuses the request because the same entity can't be on both sides of the contract... Garbage collection can be more easily implemented, just request (annual?) confirmation the resource is still required, if the answer is negative, or there is none, reclaim it. (This could even be extended to PIv6) Also, what did I miss? When did ASNs become such a scarce resource that drastic rationing is required? rgds, Sascha Luck
