If after all this discussion you still think those criticising 2008-08 are the ones trying to "fix broken political approaches" through RIPE policy I don't see how we're ever going to agree.
It's not about agreeing at this point in time, it's about moving forward: at the last RIPE meeting you said that RPKI has risks what we shouldn't take without thinking about them and without looking for alternatives. In the hallway after the discussion you promised me to do research. As far as I can remember you would: 1) study the discussions in the IETF and other places to see why RPKI design decisions were made the way they are 2) see if there is a better way to secure routing that provides (90%-100%) the same benefits without the major risks as you see them 3) of course taking 1 into account while doing 2 Can you give us a status update on this?
