I agree with Wolfgang - the current version is fine, and Gert - that it is important to move on this because otherwise we'll lose the opportunity forever, and that would be a shame because IXPs perform an important function for the Internet as a whole.

Hi,

I hope you are all aware that you are asking for something which *was*
in version 1.0 of this proposal, and which was *not* receiving positive
feedback in the discussion phase.

Also, you are certainly all aware that if we do another version of this
proposal with changes and a new impact analysis, we'll have run out of
IPv4 before this can be implemented (thus: no extra address space for
IXPs).

Just sayin.
