When and if the IETF decides that non-/64-subnets are a desirable feature,
waiting for the ietf to catch up to ops reality is broken. rough consensus and running code, and they are often quite unrelated. subnets longer than /64 are extremely common in practice, particularly point to point links. and yes, we can rat-hole on other uses, auto-conf, ... but let's not. randy
