Dear Colleagues, On Friday 14 May 2004, Hans Petter Holen, Address Policy Working Group Chair, confirmed the consensus on the proposal to change the minimum IPv4 allocation size to /22 in the African countries in the RIPE NCC service region. http://www.ripe.net/ripe/mail-archives/address-policy-wg/2004/msg00212.html A larger allocation block will be made when justified by the Local Internet Registry. No comments were made and consensus was reached. The RIPE NCC will implement this policy on 17 May 2004. The supporting documentation will be updated as soon as possible. Please note that /22 allocations will only come from the 196.200.0.0/13 block. Best regards, Andrea Cima Snr. Hostmaster RIPE NCC -
