Re: [address-policy-wg] IPv6 deployment
The point is that not all countries are the same when it comes to rules , some regulatory or government organizations may force ISPs in some area to stick with IPv4, as they simply don't have IPv6 ready LI platforms. I'm sure that there are some plans to deploy IPv6 in all countries soon or later it would be done (even Iran has a v6 road map), but telling others to go and deploy IPv6 (or it is not difficult to deploy) does not change the fact that there are more limitations out there. anyway, thanks for your thoughtful advises. Work with your regulator to *make* it possible - like the rest of the world has. It might take a while, but "not doing anything and complaining that IPv4 has run out" is not the right approach. But you have already been pointed at using, e. g., HE's BGP-enabled tunnel service. What's the problem with using it and deploying IPv6 on your own network? 13 июня 2016 г. 3:27:05 GMT+03:00, Arash Naderpour <arash_mpc@parsun.com> пишет:

Hi, I have IPv6 deployed in my network since 2009 (I’m not in Iran). The problem of using a 6to4 service in Iran to provide service to end-users is that there would be no censorship or control by the government (LI = Lawful interception) and doing that is a crime in some countries. My understanding is that his problem is "going to jail" if he does so.
I think we understand that, but we can help the government and regulator to deploy and even mandate IPv6 for public administration, etc. I’ve quite good experience on this in many countries. And that includes LI (Lawful Interception) support for that, of course.
