Below is a summary of the recent discussions on the PI TF mailing list.
As the pi-tf mailing list seems to have been closed (at least I'm unable to subscribe - pi-tf-request@ripe.net bounces as unknown), I guess further discussion should take place here (which makes some sense).
Closed, yes.
I don't think so, pls. see below. The list will function exactly as before, and the archives will still be available in the same space. You can edit your personal options at: http://www.ripe.net/mailman/listinfo/pi-tf If you notice any oddities, please contact <ops@ripe.net>. We moved the mailing list to Mailman to help filter out spam. We won't close the list until we're asked to do so by the AP WG. Regards, -- leo vegoda RIPE NCC Registration Services Manager

Just to clarify, the pi-tf list until earlier this morning was a simple mail exploder. Thus, the alias 'pi-tf-request@ripe.net', will have bounced. However, in the current RIPE NCC setup, *-request@ripe.net will not work for any of our lists. All subscriptions/unsubscriptions must be done through the web interface for each public list, linked at: http://www.ripe.net/mailman/listinfo/ Public RIPE lists are archived and linked from: <http://www.ripe.net/ripe/about/maillists.html> If you have further questions, please do not hesitate to contact <ops@ripe.net>. I'm sorry, i was going to write something completely different anyways. ("Yes, further discussion should take place.") Impacts of a low caffein level. But as Daniel pointed out, "pi-tf-request@ripe.net bounces as unknown", but if this works again today (looks like), thanks for the information! -- ========================================================================== = Sascha 'master' Lenz SLZ-RIPE slz@baycix.de = = NOC BayCIX GmbH = = http://www.noc.baycix.de/ * PGP public Key on demand * = ==========================================================================
