Reminder: ASO Address Council Nominations
[Apologies for duplicate e-mails.] Dear Colleagues, The 2007 nominations for representatives to the ASO Address Council (RIPE NCC service region) period is now open. The term of Hans Petter Holen, who has served as an Address Council (AC) member for the past three years, will expire on 31 December 2007. One individual from the RIPE NCC service region will be selected to serve on the ASO AC for a term of three years. The elections will take place during the the RIPE Address Policy Working Group session at the RIPE 55 Meeting, held in Amsterdam on 22 - 26 October. Any individual may be nominated, with the exception of staff members of any Regional Internet Registry (RIR). Self-nominations are permitted. [Apologies for duplicates] Dear Colleagues, At RIPE 54 in May 2007, it was decided to establish a "RIPE Task Force on Enhanced Cooperation". Information on this task force, including motivation, a draft charter and a working plan, is available now at: http://www.ripe.net/ripe/tf/enhanced-cooperation The following mailing list has been set up for the use of the task force: <ec-tf@ripe.net> We are looking for volunteers to participate in the task force, and play an active role in achieving the goals set out in the draft charter. This invitation is open to all members of the RIPE community, and it is envisaged that the final task force will include up to 10 people. There will also be a brief presentation on the new task force at RIPE 55 in Amsterdam in October, during the Opening Plenary session.
