It does. Believe me. ISP-A is greylisting mails from ISP-B and those mails will be deferred by only 10 minutes. Over a while customers of ISP-B will wonder why mails take more than 10 minutes to be delivered and postmaster will wonder why his Qs are getting bigger and bigger.
See my comment about setups .. If ISP A sends any volume of mail to ISP B then they will be in the whitelist all the time and the mail won't be delayed at all If that's not happening then either: 1 - ISP A isn't sending mail to B in any real volume OR 2 ISP B has a botched setup
It is not hurting that much, but if you can fix it by creating an IRT, you will probably do.
Why on earth would a contact object of any kind have any impact on how people handle inbound mail? It's a total non-sequitir If network A is sending junk to network B then network B will probably block network A regardless of what contact points are available Even if the contact points are available and you report the abuse chances are that a bad operator isn't going to reply anyway, so I don't see what you're actually achieving And I'm not going to start blocking mail from any of the large ISPs / Telcos .. As the impact on my customers would lead to massive headaches
