I strongly support the proposal and the ideas behind. All other ways of searching RIPE databases (like the now gone (?) experimental search: http://lab.db.ripe.net/whois/use-cases/abuse-finder.xml?source=ripe&primary-key=%s ) led to too many false positives (wrongly assigned email-adresses) or ended up in empty queries. I am adding now the results of http://apps.db.ripe.net/whois/use-cases/abuse-finder.xml?primary-key=%s to my scripts but still use the results with care. Hopefully this url will stay longer :-) And just for the topic: we can be happy if there is at least *one* required anti-abuse email-address someone can find where he can send his complaints to. I do not see a need for splitting automatic and manual reports on the sender-side. The sender had trouble enough which was causing him/her to write a complaint at all; so let's make it as easy as possible for the victim. best greetings, Gunther NetCologne Systemadministration -- NetCologne Gesellschaft für Telekommunikation mbH Am Coloneum 9 ; 50829 Köln Geschäftsführer: Dr. Hans Konle (Sprecher), Karl- Heinz Zankel, Dipl.
