Does this server/service have a corresponding equivalents in the other five regions? If so, what are their names? If I could consistantly do dig/axfr to get all of the reverse DNS delegation data globally, that would be almost convenient and easy to script.
Hi Ronald, This question, and your previous one, are not related to the RIPE Database. I suggest you move this discussion over to the DNS working group mailing list. If you have any specific DNS questions for the RIPE NCC, you can email us directly at the address dns@ripe.net, where we will be happy to answer questions about RIPE NCC's services. Your're right, of course. I started here because I am, at present, viewing the zone files in question as sort of an extension of, or a partial restatement of the WHOIS data base, albeit in a very different form and format. But you are corect that these questions are more appropriate for the DNS WG. My apologies.
