Updated syncupdates?
Hello, I am a consultant working to develop software that will aid in keeping entries in the RIPE database up-to-date. I've been working to get a local version of the RIPE database running for our testing purposes. We're using the syncupdates interface to make changes in the database but it seems out-of-date because it is using command line switches in dbupdate that are no longer valid. Is there a newer version than 1.0.1? Thanks in advance, Peter Schroeder

I've noticed that as well and was thinking about sending an email to sw-bugs@ripe.net... Simply deleting the wrong switches in syncupdates.conf is enough as far as I see it. Tobias, That's what I've done in the past as well. I just wanted to check to see if I was missing something. Thanks again, Pete On Sep 2, 2005, at 3:20 PM, Tobias Cremer wrote:

Hello Peter, Yes, you are right, these command line switches in dbupdate are, in fact, obsolete. We will adapt our software. This is the ticket number, in case you would like to track the progress: NCC#2005091334 Thanks for bringing it under our attention. Regards, -- Trudy Prins RIPE DBM
