Hi all, I would like to nominate Dave Knight as co-chair of the DNS working group. Dave has had root on more root servers than anybody else in the world, was a driving force for the deployment of DNSSEC in the ORG registry, was part of the team that deployed DNSSEC in the root zone and sits on the board of DNS-OARC and is well-known and active in the RIPE community. In his copious spare time he leads the effort for global deployment of Dyn's DNS platform. Joe

In addition to the nice things Joe had to say about my DNS experience I will add that I’ve been involved in the RIPE community since 1999 when I started working at the NCC. These days I work at Dyn and have their support for the time and travel commitment required. I’m an enthusiastic hacker around many aspects of the DNS, particularly on the operations side of the shop. I understand however that the role of working group chair has responsibility beyond enthusiasm though, I’ve read the job description document!
