[annoucement] changing jobs
Hi All, As some of you may already know, I will be changing jobs. As of January 1st, I will join the RIPE NCC training department. This of course raises the question wether I should stay as co-chair of this working group. After talking with various people, including the NCC management, the RIPE chair and the other WG co-chairs, we concluded that I can stay on as a co-chair. However as the NCC has to remain neutral I will pull out of any discussions regarding address policy or other proposals directly related to the operations of the RIPE NCC. I will leave decisions regarding these proposals up to David and Shane, the other two co-chairs of this working group. If you have any questions or objections to this situation, please post to the IPv6 WG list or to me directly. I would like to thank my former employer, XS4ALL Internet, for the time and money they allowed me to spent on this working group over the past years. Happy new year and hope to see you in 2011, Marco Hogewoning IPv6 working group co-chair
Van harte gefeliciteerd, Marco! De geruchten gingen al een tijdje maar ik ben blij voor je dat alles goed gegaan is. Veel plezier met je nieuwe uitdaging en een fijne jaarwisseling gewenst. Ewout On Dec 30, 2010, at 16:13, Marco Hogewoning <marcoh@marcoh.net> wrote:

Marco, Wish you all well in new position, spread the awareness and IPv6 knowledge around the world as hard as you can :) I'm also very happy that you can stay with us as co-chair of RIPE IPv6 WG. Cheers, Jan Zorz

Hi Marco, all the best with your (our :-) ) new challenge! I think it is the right approach to keep you involved directly as one of the co-chairs of the IPv6-WG. We can use any help fromn those who "did it", rather than "talking about IPv6" or doing questionnaires ;-) Looking forward to see you soon, Wilfried. Marco Hogewoning wrote:
