Dear MAT WG,
now as our new process is in place:
1. A call for interested parties is made on the WG mailing list at three yearly intervals, or as needed 2. Interested parties have 2 weeks to make their interest known via the mailing list 3. The MAT-WG chairs issue a call for discussion as per normal. WG members express their approval or otherwise of the presented candidates. Nina Bargisen has volunteered to become a Co-Chair and run the WG together with me.
4. After two weeks the chairs declare consensus as they would do for a policy proposal The next date is the 5.5.2015, please send an email to the list if you have any comments, questions, approval or objections. The date passed and we got nothing then positive feedback on the mailing list. I therefore declare consensus and announce
Nina Bargisen as our new CoChair.
Congratulations Nina and I am looking very much forward to work with you. We will present Nina of course also at the MAT WG session next week so the ones of you, who have not meet her yet can fix this:-)
Best regards and thank you all for your participation.
CK now again MAT WG CoChair:-)
PS: Nick, can you please add her to the mailing lists and the website? Thx!
Thx a lot,
CK MAT WG Chair
PS: I personally know Nina since many years and would be delighted to work with her together.
I want to issue a call for a new CoChair which supports me in running
