Dear colleagues, It’s been a long wait, but we’re excited to announce that the first of our hybrid events is now open for registration! The tenth South East Europe (SEE 10)/RIPE NCC Regional Meeting will take place on 11-12 April at the Grand Hotel Union in Ljubljana, Slovenia. The meeting will be the first hybrid meeting where you can interact with attendees and presenters using the same platform. [GM] Call for Volunteers for Executive Board Election Code of Conduct Team

Dear members, This is a call for volunteers from among the membership to join the Executive Board Election Code of Conduct Team for the May 2022 General Meeting elections. The Executive Board election in 2021 was the first to have a Code of Conduct for Executive Board Election Candidates. An Executive Board Election Code of Conduct Team was established to evaluate reports of violations of the code of conduct. The report of that Code of Conduct Team is available at: https://www.ripe.net/participate/meetings/gm/meetings/may-2021/eb-elections… The team for 2021 was made up of seven volunteers from the Executive Board Election Task Force. The Executive Board would like to express its gratitude to the seven members of the team who carried out this important work. The Executive Board would now like to ask for volunteers from the membership to be on the Executive Board Election Code of Conduct Team for the May 2022 election. The task of this team will be to evaluate any reports of violations of the election code of conduct by candidates. If the team confirms that a violation of the election code of conduct has taken place, disqualification of the candidate in question can take place. If you are willing to participate in this role, please send a mail to <agm(a)ripe.net> by *Wednesday, 23 February 2022*. The Board will appoint members of the team from the list of those that volunteer. Members should not volunteer if they expect to become candidates in the election. And I note that the code of conduct for this purpose applies only to confirmed candidates in the election. [news] New functionality for managing support tickets

Dear colleagues, We are pleased to announce that we have recently deployed new functionality for managing your support tickets in the LIR Portal. You can access this area of the LIR Portal via: https://my.ripe.net/#/tickets Following feedback from the community in 2021, we have expanded the scope of tickets visible to include tickets that have recently been closed. We have added additional details including, but not limited to, the status of a ticket, the ticket history, and an indication of when there was last activity on a ticket. You can read the following RIPE Labs article for more detailed information: https://labs.ripe.net/author/matt_parker/ticketing-in-the-lir-portal/ We are keen to hear what you think about these improvements. Let us know below the article on RIPE Labs or on the RIPE NCC Membership discussion list at members-discuss [at] ripe [dot] net. The new functionality will be included in our quarterly usability testing of the LIR Portal and, if there is sufficient interest, we will schedule an Open House event to continue the conversation.
