Dear RIPE NCC members, The RIPE NCC Executive Board held its 184th and 185th meetings in May and June 2025. The minutes from these meetings are now available at: https://www.ripe.net/about-us/executive-board/minutes/2025/ The Executive Board publishes the minutes of its meetings so that the workings of the Board and the decisions it makes are transparent to the membership it represents. The following is a summary of the main items from the meetings. Further details are available in the minutes. ------------------------------- Main Items ------------------------------- The Board resolved that the RIPE NomCom 2025 had followed proper procedure for each candidate and confirmed the selection of the RIPE Chair and RIPE Vice Chair in accordance with the document 'The RIPE Chair Selection Process' (ripe-787). The Executive Board resolved to temporarily moderate the members-discuss mailing list starting from Monday 2 June 2025, 20:00 CEST and until further notice. ------------------------------- Resolutions Adopted ------------------------------- Resolution EB#184-R-01 The RIPE NCC Executive Board establishes that the RIPE NomCom 2025 has followed proper procedure for each candidate and confirms the selection of the RIPE Chair and RIPE Vice Chair in accordance with the document 'The RIPE Chair Selection Process' (ripe-787). Resolution EB#185-R-01 The RIPE NCC Executive Board resolves to temporarily moderate the members-discuss mailing list starting from Monday 2 June 2025, 20:00 CEST and until further notice. The mailing list will be moderated in accordance with the purpose of the mailing list and the principles of the RIPE Code of Conduct by a designated member of the RIPE NCC Executive Board and a RIPE NCC staff member. A total of 1,039 votes were cast, and the voting results were announced on Friday, 16 May 2025. Ondřej Filip and Randy Bush were elected to the Executive Board, and members voted on nine resolutions which were all approved, including the RIPE NCC Charging Scheme 2026. [news] The RIPE NCC General Meeting May 2025

Dear RIPE NCC members, The RIPE NCC General Meeting May 2025 took place from 14 - 16 May 2025. A total of 1,039 votes were cast. The results from the General Meeting are: Resolution 1: "The General Meeting adopts the RIPE NCC Financial Report 2024." The resolution was approved Resolution 2: "The General Meeting discharges the Executive Board with regard to its actions as they appear from the Annual Report 2024 and Financial Report 2024." The resolution was approved Resolution 3: “The General Meeting adopts the amendments to Section B.1. of the RIPE NCC Conflict Arbitration Procedure. It further resolves that these amendments do not apply to the current terms of the current arbiters. Instead, the terms of the current arbiters will expire in the order of their original appointment, beginning in 2026. Specifically, the term of arbiters appointed in 2001 will expire in 2026, the term of those appointed in 2010 will expire in 2027, the term of those appointed in 2011 will expire in 2028, and the term of those appointed in 2018 will expire in 2029. The relevant arbiters shall be eligible for immediate re-appointment accordingly.” The resolution was approved Resolution 4: “The General Meeting adopts the amendments to sections B.2.1. and B.2.2. of the RIPE NCC Conflict Arbitration Procedure.” The resolution was approved Resolution 5: "The General Meeting adopts the amendments to sections B.2.3. of the RIPE NCC Conflict Arbitration Procedure." The resolution was approved Resolution 6: "The General Meeting adopts the amendments to section C.1. of the RIPE NCC Conflict Arbitration Procedure." [GM] Reminder: General Meeting May 2025 Takes Place Tomorrow

Dear RIPE NCC members, This is a reminder that the General Meeting takes place tomorrow, Wednesday, 14 May 2025 at 16:00 (UTC+1). REGISTER There’s still time to register to attend and vote at the General Meeting. You have until 14:00 (UTC+1) on 14 May 2025. It takes a couple of minutes to register in the LIR Portal: https://my.ripe.net/#/meetings/active Everyone who registers will receive a link to the Meetecho platform to join the meeting remotely and a link to the livestream. Onsite attendees can attend the meeting in the Main Room from 16:00 local time (UTC+1) on Wednesday. ONSITE ATTENDEES - COLLECT YOUR STICKER If you are onsite at RIPE 90, you will need to collect your General Meeting sticker from the GM Help Desk which is next to the Registration Desk. Without a sticker you will not be able to enter the Main Room for the General Meeting. The GM Help Desk is open from 09:00 - 17:00 today and tomorrow from 09:00-16:00 local time. VOTING All voting is done electronically through the voting platform Assembly Voting. All registered and eligible voters will receive two emails from Assembly Voting at approximately 15:30 (UTC+1) on Wednesday 14 May. One email will include a link to the platform and Voting Code 1 (which is pre-filled) and the other will include Voting Code 2 that you will need to log in to vote. Dear colleagues, We have launched a new Trust Portal to provide greater transparency into our operations and to help members and stakeholders better understand how we manage our security, compliance, and governance: https://trust.ripe.net/ The portal provides a comprehensive overview of how we protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our services. It includes key policies and processes covering information security, data protection, vulnerability management, and incident response. It also highlights our compliance with frameworks like SOC 2 for RPKI services, our progress toward ISO 27001 certification, and adherence to GDPR and other relevant EU regulations. For law enforcement and other competent authorities, the Trust Portal also provides guidance on how to request information from the RIPE NCC, and links to other useful supporting information. Dear RIPE NCC members, The RIPE NCC will hold an online session for members to meet the RIPE NCC Executive Board election candidates on Wednesday, 7 May 2025. The session is taking place online from 15:00 - 16:30 UTC+2. *Meet the Executive Board Candidates* This is an opportunity for Board candidates in the upcoming election to introduce themselves to the membership and explain why they are standing for election. It is also an opportunity for members to ask the candidates questions. The RIPE NCC Charging Scheme Task Force has published its draft report containing the principles that it proposes should guide a new charging scheme model for the RIPE NCC. The task force will consider all input and then work to produce a final report and set of principles after the General Meeting. The task force has met regularly since August 2024 to discuss a wide range of issues relating to how the RIPE NCC charges its members. Dear RIPE NCC members, This is a reminder that there is a call for nominations to the RIPE NCC Executive Board. Nominations will be accepted until Wednesday, 23 April 2025 at 23:59 (UTC). The election will fill the seats currently held by Ondřej Filip and Remco van Mook, whose terms expire in May 2025. [news] Online Partial Payment Option Introduced for RIPE NCC Members

** *Dear members,* * We are happy to let you know that we have been able to implement partial payments for all members via our online payment system. We researched and implemented this option after Ukrainian members informed us of difficulties making payments in larger euro amounts - we hope this helps to address these issues. As there is administrative and cost overhead in handling more payments, we ask that members who have the ability to pay their invoices at once please do so. However, those who need this payment option are more than welcome to use it in coming years. Please note that if you do choose to make a partial payment, the minimum amount is EUR 400. At the moment the outstanding amount is lower than EUR 400, you will only be able to pay the full outstanding amount. The introduction of this option does not affect our current billing schedule and closing procedure. The closing policy will begin to apply to all invoices that are not fully paid within 30 days of the invoice date. Reminders to pay will be sent for all invoices that are not fully paid, even if partial payments have been made. As over 98% of all 2025 invoices have already been paid, we realise this option comes too late to be applicable for most of you this year. However, those yet to pay, especially those who have difficulties in making payments or who have been granted a payment extension due to being in an area in distress, should feel free to use the partial payments option.
