Be advised that these emails were *not* sent by the RIPE NCC. If you have received such emails, we advise you to delete them. RPKI VALIDATOR 3.0 At RIPE 76, we announced the beta release of the RIPE NCC RPKI Validator 3.0. This is a new version of our open-source toolset for Resource Certification (RPKI) validation. More information can be found at: https://github.com/RIPE-NCC/rpki-validator-3/wiki PHASING OUT THE IP ANALYSER We'll be removing the IP Analyser from the LIR Portal in the coming weeks because the My Resources area of the portal now provides that functionality and more. RIPE ATLAS ANCHOR VIRTUAL MACHINES The RIPE NCC's pilot program to explore the pros and cons for including Virtual Machines (VMs) in the pool of RIPE Atlas anchors is still ongoing, with five anchor VMs currently up and running. [GM] RIPE NCC General Meeting May 2018

Dear colleagues, The RIPE NCC General Meeting (GM) was held from 16-23 May 2018. An election took place to fill two seats on the RIPE NCC Executive Board. There were six candidates and the seats were filled by Falk von Bornstaedt and Piotr Strzyżewski. There were nine resolutions to be voted on at the General Meeting. The results of the voting on the resolutions are as follows: Resolution 1 - The General Meeting adopts the RIPE NCC Financial Report 2017. The resolution was approved. Resolution 2 - The General Meeting discharges the Executive Board with regard to its actions as they appear from the Annual Report 2017. The resolution was approved. Resolution 3 - The General Meeting adopts the RIPE NCC Charging Scheme 2019. The resolution was approved. Resolution 4 - The General Meeting approves the addition of Timothy Mahoney to the RIPE NCC Arbiters Panel. The resolution was approved. Resolution 5 - The General Meeting approves the addition of Thomas Okalla to the RIPE NCC Arbiters Panel. The resolution was approved. Resolution 6 - The General Meeting approves the addition of Miquel Illa Oliveras to the RIPE NCC Arbiters Panel. The resolution was approved. Resolution 7 - The General Meeting approves the addition of Payam Poursaied to the RIPE NCC Arbiters Panel. The resolution was approved. Resolution 8 - The General Meeting approves the addition of Sander Steffann to the RIPE NCC Arbiters Panel. The resolution was approved. Resolution 9 - The General Meeting approves the dismissal of Nick Williams from the RIPE NCC Arbiters Panel. The resolution was approved. I would like to welcome Falk and Piotr to the Executive Board. I would also like to thank Dmitry Burkov and János Zsakó for their dedicated service to the RIPE NCC during their time on the Executive Board. Dear colleagues, The RIPE NCC has been supporting activities and projects for the “Good of the Internet” for more than 25 years. From its earliest days, community-driven, non-commercial work has been fundamental to the success of the Internet. Today, these elements play an important role in making the Internet resilient, secure and accessible for everyone. Under the RIPE NCC Community Projects Fund, the RIPE NCC provides up to EUR 250,000 per year to support projects of value to the operation and resilience of the Internet, with a focus on tools and services benefitting the technical community in the Europe, the Middle East and parts of Central Asia. *Apply now to get your project funded!* If you or your organisation is working on a new or existing project that fits the criteria below, and need some financial support to get it off the ground or keep it going, we want to hear from you! - Is your project of benefit to the Internet, particularly the RIPE community? - Is your project non-commercial in nature? - Do you have a clear project plan and timeline? [GM] RIPE NCC General Meeting Extended to Wednesday, 23 May at, 09:00 UTC+2

Dear RIPE NCC members, The voting period for the RIPE NCC General Meeting (GM) is extended to Wednesday, 23 May at 09:00 UTC+2. The extension period takes into account the weekend followed by a public holiday in a number of RIPE NCC service region countries. Due to a miscommunication regarding the voting period sent to registered voters, the Executive Board has decided to extend this voting period to next Wednesday, 23 May at 09:00 UTC+2 to ensure that all registered members have the opportunity to cast their votes. This only applies to those members that have already registered to vote. Please note, no new registrations can be accepted. Votes that have already been cast are valid. Those who have already cast their votes can not do so again. The paper ballots have been added to the electronic voting system in accordance with the process I described in the GM, under the supervision of independent scrutineers. Because the voting period is still open, results cannot be calculated until the system is officially closed on 23 May. The above was formally reported at the GM on Friday, 18 May 2018. This can be viewed online at https://www.ripe.net/participate/meetings/gm/meetings/may-2018/webstream The results will be announced via webstream on 23 May at 10:45 UTC+2 by the Chairman of the RIPE NCC Executive Board.
