RIPE NCC General Meeting: Agenda and Supporting Documents

Dear member, The final agenda for the RIPE NCC General Meeting (GM) April 2012 has now been posted: https://www.ripe.net/lir-services/ncc/gm/april-2012/agenda The Report of the RIPE NCC Charging Scheme Task Force has also been added to the GM Supporting Documents page: https://www.ripe.net/lir-services/ncc/gm/april-2012/supporting-documents A mailing list was set up to facilitate discussion of the RIPE NCC Charging Scheme. You can subscribe to this mailing list at: https://www.ripe.net/mailman/listinfo/cs-tf The GM will take place on Wednesday, 18 April 2012 from 16:00-20:00 (UTC +2). The GM will be held adjacent to the RIPE 64 Meeting, which takes place from 16-20 April 2012 at the Grand Union Hotel in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Registration ------------ You can register to attend the GM at: http://www.ripe.net/lir-services/ncc/gm/april-2012/registration Registration will remain open until 15:00 (UTC +2) on the day of the GM. Proxy Voting ------------ The deadline to nominate a proxy to represent you at the GM is 23:59 (UTC +2) tonight, 4 April. Any proxy sent to us after this date will not be valid. The proxy form and instructions on how to send it to the RIPE NCC are available at: https://www.ripe.net/lir-services/ncc/gm/april-2012/proxy-vote-registration… Electronic Voting ----------------- All RIPE NCC members who are registered contacts were today sent reminders by email to register to vote electronically. If you wish to vote electronically, you must register to do so by 17 April 2012 at 17:00 (UTC +2). To register, you need follow the process outlined in the email sent today and then send a copy of your photographic ID to <agm(a)ripe.net>. If you sent your ID to the RIPE NCC for a previous GM, you just need to email <agm(a)ripe.net> to let us know. This will complete your registration for electronic voting. Introducing the RIPE NCC Report Form

[Apologies for duplicate emails] Dear colleagues, We would like to introduce the RIPE NCC Report Form. Using this form, you can now easily report various issues, including abnormalities in Internet number resource registrations, to us for further investigation. By making it easy to report these issues to us and by putting a clear process in place, we aim to work together with you to further improve the quality of the data in the Internet number resource registry. The first release of the form offers basic functionality. We will review the form, its usage and your feedback before deciding whether further development is needed in the future. Dear RIPE NCC member, Voting for the appointment of one RIPE NCC Executive Board member will take place at the upcoming RIPE NCC General Meeting (GM) to be held on Wednesday, 18 April 2012 at the Grand Union Hotel in Ljubljana. NRO Welcomes Public Comments on the ASO Review Report

Dear colleagues, Under the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) Bylaws, the Number Resource Organization (NRO) undertakes independent periodic reviews of the Address Supporting Organization (ASO). ITEMS International, a consultancy engaged by the NRO to conduct this current review, has delivered its report. The report is open for public comment and is available here: http://www.nro.net/wp-content/uploads/ASO-Review-Report-2012.pdf The NRO encourages the ICANN, RIR, and wider Internet communities to provide comments on this report, to inform the NRO and ICANN on the further steps required by the review process.
