Community and Engagement -- RIPE 86 Call for Presentations The RIPE Programme Committee is seeking content proposals from the RIPE community for plenary sessions, lightning talks and BoFs. RIPE 86 will be a hybrid meeting, so both in-person and virtual presentations are acceptable. This proposal recommends setting the minimum assignment size for temporary assignments to a /24 while allowing for a smaller assignment if requested by the End User. This would also allow routing requirements to justify the request for more than a /24 for research purposes. The goal of this proposal is to extend the lifetime of the IXP IPv4 address pool.
