[news] Please Migrate LIR Contracts by 1 April 2017
Dear colleagues, On 29 September 2016, we announced that we simplified user management in the LIR Portal while making communication with the RIPE NCC more secure for our members: https://www.ripe.net/ripe/mail/archives/ncc-announce/2016-September/001093.h... We requested that an administrator for your LIR account go through a migration wizard to ensure there is a single list of authorised user accounts. If you have not yet done this, please migrate as soon as possible: https://my.ripe.net/#/contacts On 1 April 2017, we will remove any remaining LIR Contacts that have not been migrated. After that, these contacts will no longer be able to communicate with the RIPE NCC on the LIR's behalf - only people with an authorised user account will be able to. For most interactions with the RIPE NCC, such as requesting or transferring resources, a user account with LIR Portal access is required already. Administrators can always create a user account at any point if necessary.
