Dear colleagues, We are happy to announce that we have simplified user management in the LIR Portal while making communication with the RIPE NCC more secure for our members. For historic reasons, the LIR Portal contained an LIR Contacts list with names and email addresses of persons who are eligible to contact the RIPE NCC on the LIR's behalf. However, for security purposes we already require that specific tasks such as requesting resources or changing contact details must be performed by an authorised LIR Portal user. This is why we are merging both lists into a single set of LIR Portal user accounts. We have created a wizard that will guide a user with administrator privileges through the migration process: https://my.ripe.net/#/contacts Please note that there is no deadline on migrating LIR Contacts at the moment but we are working to ensure there is a single list of authorised user accounts as soon as possible. Your help in facilitating this process would be appreciated.
