What We’re Doing for You -- LIR Stats Number of LIRS: 23,717 (+18) LIRs with IPv6: 16,295 (+35) IPv4 Addresses Transferred in August: 606,208 (+79,104) -- Using Third Parties to Automate Our Due Diligence We will soon begin working with third parties to fulfill our mandatory due diligence requirements in two key areas: sanctions screening and the validation of identification documents. This exam is paired with the new IPv6 Security e-learning course in the RIPE NCC Academy: https://www.ripe.net/publications/news/announcements/ipv6-security-expert-ex... -- Be Aware of Phishing Emails Several of our members recently alerted us to phishing emails from RIPE NCC-related email addresses, such as <noreply@ripe.net>. These are reasonably obvious, as we tend to spell “RIPE” correctly. In any case, please be aware and avoid clicking on any suspicious links. 2. Your Technical Update -- A Changing User Interface for rpki-validator.ripe.net After stopping maintenance of our RPKI Validator, we will be migrating our public RPKI Validator service on rpki-validator.ripe.net to Routinator.
