RIPE NCC SUPPORT FOR NOGs The RIPE NCC is committed to supporting the establishment and development of network operator groups (NOGs) throughout our service region. A new resource centre is available on RIPE Labs to provide information and support for NOGs: https://labs.ripe.net/nogs/ RIPE DATABASE SWITCH TO ZONEMASTER The RIPE Database has switched over to Zonemaster for better Reverse DNS checks. Please be aware that errors/warnings might be phrased slightly differently than before. NEW RIPE ATLAS MEASUREMENT OPTIONS We’ve added a number of new measurement options on RIPE Atlas. Users can now customise their DNS measurements with the added 'timeout' and 'use_macros' options, as well as SSLcert and Ping measurements, which now have options for specifying hostnames and including probe ids, respectively. If there has been a company acquisition since you became a member, please let us know. There is a call for presentations with a deadline of 20 August. The deadline to apply for both meetings is 20 August 2017. All the RACI details are available at: https://www.ripe.net/raci RIPE IoT ROUNDTABLE MEETING IN LEEDS On 21 September, a RIPE IoT Roundtable Meeting that follows up on the IoT sessions from RIPE 73 and RIPE 74 takes place in Leeds in the UK. The goal of the meeting is to facilitate further discussion between the RIPE community and other stakeholders about the potential impact of the IoT on the RIPE community’s business interests as well as the services offered by the RIPE NCC.
