Dear colleagues, It took us a bit longer than anticipated, but we’re pleased to announce that our latest RIPE NCC Certified Professionals badge, BGP Security Associate, is now available. We invite you to use your exam vouchers to schedule our newest exam. The BGP Security Associate certification is intended for individuals who understand the common causes of BGP incidents and the current best practices to prevent them. This exam certifies the ability to: - Evaluate the security vulnerabilities of BGP Internet routing - Implement security measures for protecting BGP speakers and BGP sessions - Identify best current practices for BGP route filtering - Register information in the Internet Routing Registry (IRR) system - Implement RPKI and use its data to validate BGP announcements Read more about the exam at: https://getcertified.ripe.net/badge/bgp-security/ ------------------------- Voucher Validity ------------------------- Each LIR is entitled to receive three exam vouchers in a calendar year. The expiry date was originally set to 31 December 2022. We understand that some of you might have saved up your vouchers to use for the BGP Security certification, and therefore, we have extended the validity of the vouchers by two months. *Your vouchers are valid until 28 February 2023.
