Register for Electronic Voting on RIPE NCC General Meeting Resolutions
Dear colleagues, There is one week left to register for electronic voting at the upcoming RIPE NCC General Meeting (GM) in Vienna on 2 November 2011. If you have not yet registered, you will receive an email from the RIPE NCC inviting you to register for electronic voting with the BigPulse system. You should follow the instructions in the invitation email if you wish to register for electronic voting. Electronic voting will be facilitated for all GM resolutions. The resolutions are available in the draft agenda at: http://www.ripe.net/lir-services/ncc/gm/november-2011/draft-agenda The supporting documents for the GM are available at: http://www.ripe.net/lir-services/ncc/gm/november-2011/documents The voting period will begin after the resolutions are presented to the membership on 2 November and will remain open until 3 November at 14:00 (UTC +1). The extended voting period will give members in all time zones in the RIPE NCC service region adequate time to cast their votes. The RIPE NCC uses BigPulse, a third party that specialises in web-based voting solutions, to conduct the poll. The deadline to register for electronic voting is 19 October 2011 at 23:59 (UTC). Those physically attending the GM who wish to vote electronically must also register by 19 October. NOTE: It will not be possible to register to vote electronically on the day of the GM. If you think you are entitled to vote but do not receive the invitation to register by 18:00 (UTC) on 13 October, please contact <agm@ripe.net> to let us know. Register to Attend the GM in Vienna ----------------------------------- You can register to physically attend the GM online at: http://www.ripe.net/gm-nov2011/registration Proxy Voting ------------ If your organisation is to be represented by a third party, not being an authorised employee or director, please fill out the proxy form and send it to us by 19 October 2011. Any proxy sent to us after this date will not be valid. You will receive an email inviting you to register for electronic voting. The subject of the email will be "Register Now: RIPE NCC Electronic Voting on Resolutions". 2. Click the link in the email to bring you to the BigPulse registration pages. 3. Select the LIRs you are entitled to vote for and click "Submit". 4. On the next page, confirm your selection. 5. On the final page, you will receive instructions to complete your registration. You will need to submit a copy of your passport or ID to the RIPE NCC. If you submitted your ID previously for a RIPE NCC Executive Board election, you only need to email <agm@ripe.net> to let us know.
