Dear RIPE NCC members, The RIPE NCC Executive Board held its 161st meeting on 23 October 2022 and its 162nd meeting on 26 October 2022. The minutes from these meetings are now available. The Executive Board publishes the minutes of its meetings so that the workings of the Board and the decisions it makes are transparent to the membership that it represents. The following is a summary of the main items from the meetings. Further details are available in the minutes. ----------------------- Main Items ----------------------- - It was decided to proceed with the deployment of the ‘Publish in Parent’ service of RPKI as it currently stands after Felipe Victolla Silveira consulted stakeholders. In order to launch the service, the RIPE NCC Certification legal framework will need to be amended. - The Board reviewed and discussed Board briefings, GM and RIPE NCC Services Working Group presentations ahead of RIPE 85. - I gave an update on the developments within AFRINIC. - The Board discussed the status of the open investigation concerning the conduct of one Board member (who recused themselves due to a conflict of interest). - The Board discussed the proposal to further protect the resources of Ukrainian networks and asked RIPE NCC management to provide additional input before a decision on a short-term solution could be made. ---------------------------- Resolutions Adopted ---------------------------- - The RIPE NCC Executive Board approves the minutes of EB#160. - The RIPE NCC Executive Board approves the proposed amendments to the RIPE NCC Certification legal framework.
