Dear all,
*Please DO NOT reply to this message if you wish to volunteer or propose a volunteer.*
In accordance with the chair selection process the term of one of our co-chairs (Janos Zsako) will soon expire and we would like to invite volunteers, or nominations, for someone to become a co-chair of the RIPE NCC Services working group.
Anyone may volunteer, and anyone may be nominated by someone else.
To do this, please send a mail to ncc-services-wg-chairs(a)ripe.net before the end of Tuesday 13th October 2026 (UTC).
It would be helpful for candidates to provide some words as to why they think they ought to be a co-chair, what new ideas or improvements they might bring, and so on.
We will publish the list of volunteers, along with anything the volunteers include with their nomination, to this mailing list on Wednesday 14th October 2026. Discussion and support (or opposition) for each candidate can then be offered on the list.
At the NCC Services working group session at RIPE 93, Stefan and Rob will announce the candidate based on the mailing list discussion.
Timeline

Tuesday 13 Oct Deadline for volunteers
Wednesday 14 Oct List of volunteers and call for support posted to the mail list

Dear all,
Here is the agenda for our meeting at RIPE 93.
A. Welcome, admin matters (10 minutes)
B. RIPE NCC Draft Activity Plan and Budget 2027 (35 minutes)
Hans Petter Holen
C. Renewing Our Technical Infrastructure (50 minutes)
Sjoerd Wolthers
Z. AOB (10 minutes)
The astute among you will notice that this exceeds the traditional 90 minute session allocation. To avoid a repeat of Edinburgh, we are having fewer talks and leaving more time for discussion, and have agreed with the RIPE Chair Team to add fifteen minutes to the session. To make the best use of that discussion time, please read the Activity Plan and Budget before the meeting:

Safe travels to Sofia!
Rob on behalf of the NCC Services co-chair team.
