Call for RIPE NCC Services Working Group Chair Please DO NOT reply to this message if you wish to volunteer or propose a volunteer. In accordance with the chair selection process we announce that the term of one of our co-chairs (Rob Evans) will soon expire and we would like to invite volunteers, or nominations, for someone to become a co-chair of the RIPE NCC Services working group. Anyone may volunteer, and anyone may be nominated by someone else. To do this, please send a mail to ncc-services-wg-chairs(a)ripe.net before the end of Tuesday 7th October 2025 (UTC). It would be helpful for candidates to provide some words as to why they think they ought to be a co-chair, what new ideas, or improvements they might bring, and so on. We will publish the list of volunteers, along with anything the volunteers include with their nomination, to this mailing list on Wednesday 8th October 2025. Discussion and support (or opposition) for each candidate can then be offered on the list. At the NCC Services working group session at RIPE 91, Stefan and Janos will announce the candidate based on the mailing list discussion. RIPE NCC Quarterly Planning Q4 2025

Consultation on Draft RIPE NCC Strategy 2027-2031

Dear all, We are pleased to share our Draft RIPE NCC Strategy 2027-2031, now available at: https://www.ripe.net/s/draft-strategy-consultation/ The publication of the draft strategy marks the beginning of the consultation phase with our members and community, so we invite you to review the document and share your feedback. Your input is essential in helping to shape the final strategy that will set our direction for the coming years. You can have your say and contribute to the draft strategy by: - Sharing your thoughts on this mailing list - If you are a RIPE NCC member, taking the member consultation survey: https://www.ripe.net/s/draft-strategy-consultation-survey This survey allows members to easily give guidance on member-related matters such as development of Registry services. The survey is not anonymous - you will need to sign in with your RIPE NCC Access account. We are holding an online session with the RIPE NCC leadership to discuss the draft strategy on 9 October. You can register for this Open House at: https://www.ripe.net/s/open-house/strategy-2027-2031/ We will also have discussions on the draft strategy at the upcoming RIPE 91 Meeting, which we encourage you all to participate in. However you choose to provide your input on our draft strategy, we hope you will do so in the coming weeks. Call for presentations and co-chairs

Dear Working Group members, The co-chairs of the RIPE NCC Services Working Group hope you have had a good summer! With many thanks to the RIPE NCC, the minutes for our session at RIPE 90 are available at: https://www.ripe.net/community/wg/active-wg/services/minutes/ripe-ncc-servi… If you have any comments, please send them to us at <ncc-services-wg-chairs(a)ripe.net>. We now invite you to submit your proposals for the session taking place during RIPE 91. From RIPE 91 onwards, all plenary and working group proposals can be submitted through the same system, Pretalx. How to submit your talk: 1. Go to the RIPE 91 Call for Presentations page and click on "Submit a topic": https://ripe91.ripe.net/present/call-for-presentations/ 2. Follow the instructions to set up an account on Pretalx. [1] 3. Important: When filling in the submission form, please pay attention to the dropdown menu under "Track". This is where you select which working group (track) you would like to submit your talk for. You can also send ideas for topics or presentations directly to us first. We can then discuss if it is feasible for this meeting before you submit the slides to Pretalx. Please contact us or the RIPE NCC if you encounter any problems with Pretalx. It is also my (Rob) turn to step down from co-chairing this working group. If you are interested in helping to co-chair everybody’s favourite working group, please consider volunteering. Fame and fortune are within your grasp! [2] The formal call will be sent out by the other co-chairs four weeks before the meeting, around the 24th September, and that will be open for two weeks before a call for expressions of support, and hopefully consensus, on the list that will take us up to the meeting.
