So here's my question: is that sort of spamming compatible with the DB-AUP?
How about some sort of opt-out tag, telling everyone and her dog: "no, don't bother to ask, we won't give you our addresses"?
I have always considered the e-mail addresses in the RIPE database to be completely incompatible with "establishing contact for purely commercial purposes", to phrase it this way. And I do not want opt-out of this - if I were willing to sell my address space, I'd use the NCC listing service to advertise that. (And these guys are spammers anyway, they do not want to have the space properly transfered and registered to them, just lease it for a few more spam runs, get it black listed, move elsewhere) Gert Doering -- NetMaster -- have you enabled IPv6 on something today...?
