That said, I think this WG could develop a "Geolocation info from RIR databases (or DNS) considered harmful" RIPE document. IMO there's no need for an RFC or cleverness with ASNs.

I think you just wrote it :) Really there isn't much more to say unless you actually want to work on solving the problem, we might consider adding it to the database disclaimer or manual. Grtx, Marco
