RIPE Database Update - Service Outage Report
Apologies for duplicate emails Dear colleagues, Between 22:06 and 23:21 hours (UTC) on 23 June 2010, there was an interruption to the RIPE Database Update service. The failure was in the back end of the update server. During this period, the RIPE Database Update front-end software was still running and processing updates. The back-end server failed all these updates. Users received acknowledgements for these updates showing that an internal software error had occurred. This affected all updates in this period from webupdates, syncupdates and by email. It also affected any updates attempted through the LIR Portal. If you submitted any updates during this period, please check the acknowledgement and re-submit the update if necessary. We apologise for any inconvenience this might have caused.
