Student Session on 3 May and Research Session on 16 May
Dear colleagues, Student Session 3 May --------------------- On Tuesday, 3 May, 17:00 – 18:30 CEST we are organising an online session. Three leading experts will give their thoughts on who controls the Internet, how we can measure the Internet and how to participate in running the Internet. More info and registration: https://ripe84.ripe.net/programme/parallel-events/student-event The event is free of charge. Please share the link with your students. Research Session on 16 May -------------------------- We are also organising our regular Academic/NREN session parallel to the RIPE 84 meeting. This one will take place on Monday, 16 May, 18:00-19:00 CEST. If you attend RIPE 84 in person, please go to the Main room. If want to attend online, you have to register for the RIPE 84. Registering to attend online is free of charge and you can attend any sessions you like. Click "Register (Online Attendance)": https://ripe84.ripe.net/attend/register/ With this email I also want to invite you to email me any topics you might want to present during this session. As you might know, the format is very informal. You can talk about: - Your recent research: it doesn't matter if it is published or not, finished or not. All that matters is that you want to tell us about it and maybe answer a few questions. The topics we are interested in: network measurement and analysis, IPv6, routing, network security, peering and interconnectivity, IoT, Internet governance. - Any project of your university or NREN - maybe you launched a new popular course or created a new platform for online learning? We'd like to have several talks of about 5-10 minutes. It's up to you whether you prefer to do them with or without slides. Please let me know what you think! Have a lovely day, Gergana -- Gergana Petrova Community Development Manager RIPE NCC
