Hi Vesna, have you tried to use xenial packages within precise? Just download them and install it manually. It should work. wget http://sk.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/universe/r/ripe-atlas-cousteau/pyth... wget http://sk.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/universe/r/ripe-atlas-sagan/python-... wget http://sk.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/universe/r/ripe-atlas-tools/ripe-at... wget http://sk.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/universe/p/python-tzlocal/python-tz... make sure you have install all dependencies: apt-get install python-ipy python-openssl python-socketio-client now install the downloaded packages: dpkg -i python-tzlocal_1.2-2_all.deb python-ripe-atlas-cousteau_1.0.7-1_all.deb python-ripe-atlas-sagan_1.1.8-1_all.deb ripe-atlas-tools_1.2.2-2_all.deb cheers, -arsen * Vesna Manojlovic <BECHA@ripe.net> [2016-03-25 09:10 (+0100)]:
Hi guys,
any volunteer, or someone you know, to do packaging for "precise".
I'd like to install CLI tools on all the NLNOG RING boxes, but they need another port...
Thanks, Vesna

apparently, Ubuntu has inherited the Debian packaging of RIPE Atlas tools:

Will you please install riep-atlas-CLI-tools to all ring nodes?
I only see it in xenial, but we run precise
Is there a precise port too?
Kind regards,
Job
