I don't see the point of a Reddit presence.
From my point of view, I'd rather see resources allocated to attract users in areas where very few or no probes are installed. For example, is there an African equivalent to Reddit? What about South America?
Not that I'm involved in the project in any further way than hosting a probe. So these are just my 2 cents. BR Daniel AJ On 2013-08-27 05:49 wrote Daniel Quinn:
Hello everyone, I'm one of the developers on the RIPE Atlas project and I'm hoping some of you can help me figure out if we should have a presence on [Reddit](http://www.reddit.com/) and if so, where. I'm a pretty active member of that community, so I was appointed to ask the lot of you if we should bother setting up a subreddit, or if we should just frequent any particular subreddit to answer questions and/or promote RIPE Atlas.
So, does anyone reading this fancy the idea of better outreach on Reddit? And if so, in what way would you recommend? Feel free to post your responses to the list, or just respond to me directly. We'll let you know if we decide to branch out in this way.
