I have the same issue as you. My v2 probe #4019 stopped working last June:

The probe is not requesting IPv4 addresses from my DHCP server, but is still sending some IPv6 requests, then rebooting.
I found the pinout of the Lantronix XPP1003000-02R Embedded Module, and it has a UART pins. I think I can connect to these pins and check what's happening on the probe's Serial Console.
The next step is to remove the protective shield and check the type of flash.

Is there any other physical diagnostic I can do to a constantly rebooting V2 probe? I am happy to crack it open, and even have a soldering iron. However, at its age, I’m suspecting that the flash chip has failed.
