This is what it says now:

—-

5.11. When naming the Probe, the Probe Host must not use:

* Tradenames or intellectual property belonging to another party without their permission,

* Their own personal data or personal data of an individual without their consent,

* Offensive or discriminatory language.

—-

And I really have no clue what “naming the probe” means. Does this reference to the “Description” field in a probe user settings? And would describing it as “Vodafone-5G” then not be allowed?

If that is meant, then the wording of clause 5.11 should be changed. Naming does not equal to describing. My name “Ernst” does *not* describe me. Probes have and ID. Not a name.

Are we saying it the description cannot say what provider / technology ?
If so how does account for brands as well ?

Surely people are not using this for advertisement ?

I don’t fully understand this…

A probe has an ID. And in the description field I can describe it a bit more.

But does this mean that a description such as “Vodafone-5G” is not allowed?
A description is NOT the probe name!

What is meant with “Naming a probe”? I cannot name a probe. Even worded a bit stronger; probes don’t have names, they have an ID and a description.

Did legal miss the boat here?
