Your are right, but you miss one point of motivation.
Besides the credits we can collect, the focus is on uptime/connected
time/percentage. If that goes down through no fault of one's own...

That is a good point. We can look at how we can compensate hosts for this.

I apologise for the event. We are focusing on recovery, then on what we can do to avoid these issues in the future and what to do with those who were affected.
