Maybe... But you can do a lot better than Type-C for power connector if that's the criteria. Even the smallest barrel connectors are more robust than a Type-C connector. Wrt the accidental disconnects I'm not even sure Type-C is better than Micro-USB. I'd like to see some statistics. A rarely disconnected Micro-USB connector will have the two "hooks" intact, and will be pretty hard to disconnect even if you pull the wire. I don't think it's fair to compare Type-C to a Micro-USB connector which is worn-out due to regular re-connection, if that's what you're thinking about. Anecdotically, my experience is that the Type-C is easily disconnected by a dog, using only his paws... But it wasn't my intention to campaign against Type-C. I just wondered what made that part of the design significant enough to make a wishlist. I'd rather see PoE if you really want to make the power connector more reliable. But I accept the price vs value arguments previously made against PoE. Bjørn
