Hi, I assume the anchor nodes take their time via NTP and a general NTP pool? Have there been studies of time drift on anchors? Is there a way to configure a specific set of NTP sources? Thanks, Tim

AFIK, the only RIPE article on this is this blog: https://labs.ripe.net/author/philip_homburg/ntp-measurements-with-ripe-atlas... At the time, archors did use the pool. But again, it is from 10 years ago. /giovane

Hi Tim, Anchors do indeed take their time via NTP. They run chrony and are configured with two public pools and two stratum 1 (via GPS) servers maintained by us at the NCC. We currently do not have a mechanism for hosts to configure their own NTP sources. Best, Sean Mottles RIPE NCC On 19/05/2025 11:53, Tim Chown wrote:
