The proposals were discussed in the BOF last night and there were good support in the room for the latest version. Dear Matt, I have a question regarding new ticketing system. Some days ago I sent an email and attached a file to my message. I received a receipt of ticket, then the NCC staff member replied to my question and I received a mail that contain a previous email content and a weblink to the file I attached before. The link was active and I was able to download the file. The link points to https://ripencc.zendesk.com/attachments/token/blablabla/?name=filename. The problem I see is that ripencc.zendesk.com is a hostname on the server in a cloud, the network is assigned to an Irish company and it seems that the file storage is not under RIPE NCC's control. This hostname is not reachable over IPv6, but this is not the issue I wish to discuss now. Can you clarify whether e-mail attachments/archives at RIPE NCC are stored at the third party servers? Do you think it is acceptable? RIPE 78 thank you!

Dear colleagues, Thank you for taking part in the RIPE 78 Meeting. It was a great week in Reykjavik, with the meeting coming to a successful close last Friday. It was the second biggest RIPE Meeting with 742 attendees checked in, 200 of whom were first-time attendees. And, as always, we enjoyed a diverse meeting with people from 60 different countries making up our attendee list. This year, we are also celebrating 30 years of the RIPE community! Thank you to everyone who celebrated with us at the RIPE Dinner. Continue to share your memories by using #RIPEturns30. We received a lot of feedback. The meeting team is reviewing the completed forms, ensuring actions are taken where possible. We also heard great feedback about the on-site childcare, which was full, and a record number of people attended the Women in Tech session. Let’s keep the momentum going for RIPE 79. RIPE Code of Conduct 2.0

Colleagues, On Tuesday last myself and Amanda Gowland presented a Lightning Talk at RIPE 78 on version 2.0 of the RIPE Code of Conduct. The TF's webpage is here: https://www.ripe.net/participate/ripe/tf/ripe-diversity-task-force The plan is to finalise the Code and recruit volunteers prior to RIPE 79 in Rotterdam, so discussion and input would be very welcome until the end of June, when we will review where we are and, if the community agrees, move to a last call situation. Hi colleagues, The RIPE NCC Survey 2019 is now online. https://www.ripe.net/survey We ask you to take part in this important survey for the RIPE NCC and the RIPE community. We also ask that you encourage your colleagues and contacts to participate – The more feedback we get, the better we can do. This year, we made some changes that we hope will encourage people to get involved. We: 1. Made it shorter (most people will take less than ten minutes) 2. Translated the survey into eight languages: Arabic, Farsi, French, Italian, Polish, Russian, Spanish and Turkish 3. Added a functionality to allow you to print your questionnaire at the end of the survey We invite everyone to take the survey. This is your chance to let us know exactly what you think and give your suggestions for how the organisation should operate. We hope you will take advantage of this opportunity. Dear colleagues, The second day of RIPE 78 saw 664 attendees checked in at the meeting venue in Reykjavik. There was a full day of plenary presentations, including sessions on DDoS attacks, DNS and the KSK rollover and more. The Women in Tech Session saw a lively panel discussion on the still-prevalent gender pay gap and the efforts Iceland has made for women’s rights. The social networking event took place at Whales of Iceland. RIPE 78 Highlights - Day 1

Dear colleagues, RIPE 78 kicked off in Reykjavík yesterday with 597 attendees checked in from 58 countries, of whom 163 are attending their first RIPE Meeting. The meeting programme featured tutorials and the Newcomer's Intro in the morning, followed by a full-day of plenary presentations. At the end of the day, attendees gathered for a RIPE 'Big Picture' BoF to exchange ideas about what kind of RIPE Meeting we should work on building. Then everyone gathered in the hotel for the first social of the night, the RIPE 78 Welcome Reception.
