The RIPE NCC Community Projects Fund opened its call for applications back
in February and 42 applications from 19 countries were submitted to the
Selection Committee over the 16 week application period.
The RIPE NCC Community Projects Fund Selection Committee reviewed all
applications and is happy to announce that the following five projects have
been selected as 2024 recipients of the fund:

Congratulations to all recipients and thanks to everyone who applied for
the Community Projects Fund this year. Your ideas and efforts are a
testament to the innovation and commitment within the Internet community.
We look forward to seeing how the funded projects will develop and while
not all applications could be funded, we appreciate the time and effort put
into every submission.

Looking ahead, the Community Projects Fund will be paused in 2025 as we
undertake a review and gather feedback from the community. This pause will
allow us to better understand the community's needs and ensure that the
fund continues to support impactful and sustainable projects in the future.

RIPE 89 ended with a total of 645 attendees checked in onsite in Prague and 143 checked in online across the meeting week, with more joining in via the livestream and YouTube.
Thank you all for making this RIPE Meeting such a success!
We were happy to see active participation at this meeting from both online and onsite participants.
We would like to thank all the speakers, Working Group Chairs, the Programme Committee, the Code of Conduct team and sponsors for their contributions. Over the past week, we have had many exciting

Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to announce that Andrei Robachevsky has been elected to the
Number Resource Organization Number Council (NRO NC) during RIPE 89, held
from 28 October to 1 November 2024. Andrei will serve a three-year term
starting in January 2025 and ending in December 2027.
