Hostcount for May 1997

Dear all, Here is the hostcount for May 1997. The table shows an increase since last month of more than 200,000 (or 4.7%) to a total of more than 4,600,000 hosts in the DNS in Europe. DE shows the highest increase for May with almost 60,000 hosts more than in April. The hostcount can also be found under ftp://ftp.ripe.net/ripe/hostcount. RIPE27: terminal room information

As with previous RIPE-meetings, a terminal room will be available. DCU, the local host, provides PCs with MS-Windows and also made provisions for connecting laptop computers. Note that for the laptops European style power sockets will be available, so in the terminal room most people can do without an additional adaptor.
