Dear all, Here is the hostcount for August 1997. The table shows an increase since last month of almost 115,000 (or 2.4%) to a total of almost 5,000,000 hosts in the DNS in Europe and surrounding areas. The UK shows the highest increase for August with more than 23,000 hosts more than in July. Quite a few zones show a decrease this time. In AT one of the large ISP's did not allow a zone transfer. We hope we can convince them to allow it again next month. FI showed a huge increase last month. Now they've lost more than 17,000 hosts.
