As with previous RIPE-meetings, a terminal room will be available. While we hope to provide sufficient terminals, I strongly recommend that people bring a laptop computer with them to connect to the net. For the laptops, we will provide 10baseT/10base2 taps and 220 volts. Unfortunately, we will not be able to provide localtalk connectivity. A DHCP server will be provided for those who can use it, and also we will make available a number of static IP assignments on-site for the duration of the meeting (there will be a list in the terminal room). For those who need to set packet filters, the terminal room will use addresses in the range 193.0.0.0/23 (i.e. 193.0.0.0 - 193.0.1.255) Special requirements should be sent to <meeting@ripe.net> well in advance.
