Hello Jan - sorry for the slow reply, but we have spent some time investigating your issue can't reproduce it. We will start using a new public ticketing system for bgpdump and request you to submit your bug report there: https://bitbucket.org/ripencc/bgpdump/issues Perhaps other routeviews users are experiencing similar issues and can contribute to the diagnosis.
