ANNOUNCEMENT: RIPE NCC's New Projects Proudly Presents New RIS Features
[Apologies for duplicate emails] Dear All, RIPE NCC are pleased to announce the following RIS features: ============================================= * New Plots added to the RISreport The RISreport creates plots on a daily basis by using data from the RIS database. The new plots are generated per RRC and for the RIS as a whole: 1. AS number distribution -Origin-only ASes: ASes only seen to the right of AS paths -Transit ASes: ASes not seen exclusively to right of AS paths -Private: ASes designated for private use (64512 - 65534) -Other: ASes in ranges held or reserved by IANA or designated for experimental use 2. Average AS path length -Mean -Standard Deviation -Ratio (Mean/Standard Deviation) 3. Distribution of AS path length URL: http://www.ris.ripe.net/risreport/ (Click on "Totals" for each RRC or "All RRC boxes" at the bottom of the page) -------------------------------- * "RIS Martians" We provide now daily lists of Martians seen by RIS. We use the prefixes listed in Bill Manning's Internet Draft: "Documenting Special Use IPv4 Address Blocks that have been registered with IANA" (http://www.isi.edu/~bmanning/dsua.html) for our definition of Martians. We provide the lists per RRC and for the entire RIS.
