Hi, first try out: http://www.iana.org/assignments/ipv4-address-space and have fun if this is not enough to filter. Karsten

We all know martians such as: RFC-1918-space, default, localhost and Multicast Space. But it's very hard to filter correctly on address- space that's currently handed out by the RIRs. If there could be a database run - say in a weekly interval - which could generate the 'empty' space blocks in a list - which could again used to filter against.
Any supporters for this idea?
I'm in favour of it. A list of official non-allocated ranges and maybe also a list of official non-allocated AS numbers.
